Making Baby Wipes

Okay, so I don't have any more "babies" in the house, but I have alot of friends that do.  Lately, for some reason, I have shared with many of these sweet mommies a great recipe for making their own baby wipes!  So, since I don't seem to have any other good ideas for a post, I thought I would share it here!

I don't have the exact cost (like I did with the laundry detergent), but here are the things you will need:

Regular size paper towels   (Bounty is good, but I prefer Viva)
A container (or 2) big enough for half a roll of paper towels
Baby Wash  (I honestly just used whatever smelled nice and was cheap)

The containers I used are now my sugar and flour cannisters!

First, cut the paper towels in half with a hefty kitchen knife.   Next, in the container, mix 1 cup of water and 3 TBS of baby wash and stir.  Put half a roll in the cannister and replace the lid tightly.   When the paper has absorbed the water completely,  pull the cardboard center out of the towels.  This will give you your starting wipe!   That's it!!!   Your wipes will be the size of a secect-a-size paper towel!

Seriously, if you are a coupon addict, and shop sales, and buy the paper towels in bulk (8 rolls), this is VERY cost effective.  Not to mention, easy on the baby's bottom- or whatever.

Enjoy!
